DR45 Scrumptious Monkey

This was our first collaboration with fellow Austinite and guitar slinger, Eric Johnson. The idea was to create a finely tuned, classic, British style 45 watt amplifier in a 2x12 combo. The DR45 has two channels with two inputs and volumes, accompanied by treble, middle, bass, and presence controls. It is powered by two 6L6’s, 3 12AX7’s, and a solid state rectifier. Components are chosen and placed in precise order according to Eric’s specifications, producing crystal tone with pleasing overdrive.
